Job Description

Our client are currently looking for an Export Administrator to join their busy team based in Ware!You will work as part of the export /logistics team ensuring high level of productivity requirements are met and match workload to meet customer guidelines.You will focus on export documentation and quotations. customer service delivery, with an effective level of internal communication and drive to meet customer’s satisfaction. The role also requires physical checking of despatches to meet IATA requirements.To demonstrate a practical commitment to the strategy and aims of European Flavours & Fragrances Plc.Export Administrator duties:

  • Interface between our client and export hauliers
  • Keep track of documentation and update team and customer service
  • Input to any improvments to supply process
  • Assist in checking of despatch consignments
  • Inform logistics manager of any related issues
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained
  • Update labelling requirements for finished materials
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of issues
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Observing all health and safety requirements and reporting near misses or non-confirmation to Line or Health and Safety Manager
  • Proactive in achieving continuous improvement within the logistic function
  • Undertake training consistent with developing skills relevant to those duties and responsibilities of the role
  • Be vigilant in matters relating to health and safety within and external to the company’s offices.
  • Working hours are Monday to Wednesday 9am – 5pm with an hour lunch, Thursday 9am – 5pm with half an hour lunch, Friday is 9 am – 4 pm with half an hour lunch
  • Export Administrator Requirements:
  • Dangerous Goods Road Sea and Air Qualification
  • Ability to balance priorities, time manage and work to tight deadlines
  • Good at problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to suggest solutions
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to build effective relationships
  • Comfortable working within a small team
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Able to work under pressure in a calm and mature manner
  • Self-motivated with ability to show initiative
  • Ability to use tact and sensitivity in maintaining working relationships
  • Dedicated to learning new skills and building up experience and knowledge

  • Current IATA certification to Road Sea and Air
