Job Description

Your New Job Title: Clinical Trials Support CoordinatorYour New Daily rate: up to £26.67p/hour PAYE or £34.91 p/hour umbrella (inside IR35) * equivalent of up to £55k per annumDuration: Long term temporary assignment until 19/11/2021Location: Ware, Harlow, Stevenage. Working from home initially but then would involve working at various trial sites.Start date: ASAPWorking hours: 37.5 hoursJob posting ID: JP86342Who youll be working for:Our client a Major FTSE100 of ours who have fantastic offices are looking for a Clinical Trials Logistics Coordinator.What youll be doing each day:You will be responsible for being the point of contact for a number of clinical trial sites. You will assist people with the trials working with a range of different software/systems. Specifically you will:

  • Provide single point for global operational support of Comet / Xpress.
  • Provide management of System User account access.
  • Provide AppConnect/FieldGlass/B2B accounts (Xpress).
  • Provide access to Cold Chain Information System (CCIS).
  • Perform Periodic access management reviews and report.
  • Creation of material item definitions as a service (Comet).
  • Provide guidance to available reports or action data extracts and facilitate process of obtaining ad hoc data for users.
  • Perform system configuration changes/additions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and effective communications with business customers.
  • Facilitate business data request for change with IT.
  • Review and approve change controls and monitor delivery.
  • Perform testing for change controls where required, by authoring test cases / proving evidence .
  • Ensure training support and problem resolution with users is in place, regionally, globally.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Research & Development Tech (IT) to ensure system effectiveness and front-line application support.
  • Ensure adequate maintenance of user manuals and system user training materials.
  • Adherence to all system standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Ensure clear, concise, and frequent communications are provided to the user community during any system outage.
  • Ensure system changes or enhancements are appropriately managed through change control process and re-validated as appropriate in compliance with IT Management System.
  • The skills you need to succeed:
  • This role will begin working from home but once you return to work you will be between sites at Harlow, Ware and Stevenage so having a car would be a big plus!
  • Previous experience of clinical trials or understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains.
  • Tech savvy although full training will be given on all required software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access a plus.
