Role: SEND Teacher Location: Secondary School, Wandsworth, South London Start date: January 2021 / April 2021 Annual salary: MPS / UPS + SEN Allowance (inner London)Aston Education is looking for a dynamic SEND Teacher for an Outstanding 11-18 secondary school in Wandsworth in South London from January or April 2021.As a SEND Teacher you’ll be supporting students with a wide range of SEND. This can include SpLD including dyspraxia, dyslexia and dyscalculia, SLCN including ASD, Sensory and physical difficulties and SEMH.The Learning Support Department supports the whole school in the identification and teaching and learning of students with SEND. As a SEND Teacher you’ll be offering small group intervention teaching specifically in Literacy and Numeracy.The ideal candidate is an outstanding SEND Teacher with QTS/QTLS who has experience teaching students with SEND in a mainstream secondary school.Their Ofsted report says that disabled students and those with special educational needs make good progress.The school provides an exciting curriculum together with excellent extra-curricular provision. They have outstanding facilities and high expectations with respect to behaviour.
