The starting salary for this position is£10,971.50 for 18 hours per week, pro-rata to £21,943.This position is based atAshley Park House, 42-50 Hersham Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey , KT12 1RZ. The working hours areWednesday: 1.20pm - 5pm, Thursday: 8.50am - 5pm andFriday: 8.50am - 5pm (these are defined hours).Our social care business support teams provide support to front line social care workers and, whilst you wont be required in the office 5 days a week, there is the expectation you will work in the office on a rota basis at least two days a week.Core workinghours are 08:50-17:00 to ensure full cover is provided to operational teams and front-line call lines.Children, Families and Learning provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks and staff working in these areasneed specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups. Our admin teams support front line Social Care staff.We are looking for a part time Administrator to work in this varied and interesting role within the Children, Families & Learning Business Support Team based in our Waltonoffice.In this role you will organise multiagency meetings on behalf of the social care teams, liaise with professionals both within Social Care and with other agencies,keep track of information, update and maintain spreadsheets and databases,take meeting notesand subsequently distribute to involved parties, ensuringtimescales are metand provide performance information.You will be highly organised,willing to take responsibility and use initiative,comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines. You will make sure that everything is in place to guarantee that all runs smoothly for the processes and teamsyou support.Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and oral communication. You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and have the ability to work under pressureand to tight deadlines.We are looking for someone who:
