Job Description

On behalf of our client, a distributer and provider of logistics and supply chain services to the aerospace industry, Line Up Aviation are seeking applicants from experienced Sales Executives with an Aerospace (consumables & expendables) background.Role: Sales ExecutivePay: Competitive plus CommissionType: PermanentLocation: SurreyTravel: RequiredAdditional Information: The successful candidate will understand the aerospace parts industry and will have experience of selling fasteners, bearings, electrical parts. They will be able to manage budgets & targets for customer portfolios.Primary PurposeThe primary purpose of this role is to manage multiple customers with the scope of selling materials which conform to the customer’s requirements, following the whole process and optimises revenue performance and profitability.Principal Tasks and Responsibilities· Operates as the lead point of contact for nominated customers, to establish and strengthen relationships necessary to customer growth. To evolve the sales activity, where applicable to a service provider contract.· Manages RFQ’s in a timely manner ensuring the RFQ is based upon qualified sources, best practice shopping, usage of existing stock, the principle of ROI and maintaining a healthy margin.· Process the quotation to the customer· Is responsible for customer order contract review considering the contract review procedures.· Managing relationships with customers, contributing, and actively supporting business whilst looking for new opportunities.· Is responsible for ensuring the proper information flow to the customer as regards the order status.· Participate in new sales opportunities and Identify any potential new business through the follow up on current customer activities.· Where an appropriate supply chain solution is identified the salesperson will assist in the solutions analysis and customised proposal.· Ensure budgeted, forecasted revenue and margin targets are met or surpassed.Qualifications and Experience Requirements· A Level or equivalent.
