Job Description

A client school in East London requires LSAs to support pupils who present with ASD and complex needs.You will be working as part of a team in a very inclusive setting with the needs of the children being paramount. This position offers a great place to work within a very friendly environment where you will learn more and more skills to further your career.The role is full-time (8:30am - 3:30pm) temporary long term position but will lead to a permanent post for the right candidate.Salary range: £83-£90 per day (inclusive of Holiday Pay)The ideal candidate will come from an educational setting or may be a graduate who would like to further a career in teaching. Previous experience of working with children with autism would be advantageous but not essential.Person Specification:

  • Willingness to meet pupils primary care needs
  • Be calm under pressure
  • Be willing to be trained in a positive handling course
  • Experience working in a SEND setting is beneficial but not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Being a good team player is essential for the health and safety of all stakeholders
