Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a housekeeper to work in one of our long-term clients in the Walthamstow, E17 area.The role is to work as a housekeeper with the following duties:-

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Washing windows
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
  • Steaming and cleaning draperies
  • Tidying up rooms
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
    • The work is spread across all seven days of the week with the schedule working six days on, three days off, six days on and so on.This means your work days can be any day from Monday - Sunday and there are three shift patterns including an early shift 08:00 - 15:30, a middle shift 10:00 - 19:00 and a late shift 13:00 - 22:00.You will need to have some cleaning experience to be able to do the role to a good level so please only apply if you have cleaning experience and if you are available to work across the seven days in the week including weekends.The pay is £9.45 per hour with holiday pay accrued which is not included in the £9.45 per hour.The job is initially on a long-term basis which a small chance it could go permanent.IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE DO APPLY!
