Job Description

Monday to Friday only 09:00am / 09:30am to 3pm or 3:30pm£9.75 per hourWe are recruiting HCAs or Support Workers to work in East London, From Romford, Ilford, Newbury Park, Leyton, Stratford, Beckton, Barking and many other locations locally.The day care centres have a programme of planned activities that are designed to be stimulating and entertaining. In the day care facility, they will be put on specially for the day care visitors. The activities available differ depending on the facilitiesand the needs of the people attending.Day care activities are designed to be stimulating and entertaining. They vary between centres, from arts and crafts, to games to day trips out. For people with disabilities or dementia, many centres have specially built sensory rooms, where they hold sensoryactivities. For people with learning disabilities, they can often take part in activities that teach life skills, while lunch clubs are a popular place for social interaction for older people.Job Summary

  • Activities include taking service users to the Park, Westfield Shopping Centres, Swimming, Cinema etc

Our Support Workers will have (Requirements):
  • 12 months previous experience in health and social care
  • Enhanced DBS or update service
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care
  • Mandatory Certificates including Health & Safety, First Aid, Safeguarding Adults and Children Level 2/3,
  • References going back 5 years (must be employment)
