Job Description

Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a growing multi-store retailer on their search for a Management Accountant to join their team.Reporting directly to the Head of Finance this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to join a growing retail organisation in a management accounting role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and analytical commentary.
  • Accruing/Prepaying monthly costs, preparing journals and maintaining schedules
  • Take responsibility for key balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Support with budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial plans
  • Ensure capital expenditure is recorded correctly and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain cashflow forecasts
  • Stock Accounting
  • Manage fixed asset register
  • Tax returns
  • Assisting with year-end audit by carrying out the required preparatory and analytical work.
Key Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or finalist)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar management accountant role
  • Multi-site retail/hospitality industry experience is required
  • Experience within a stock, retail, and e-commerce environment will be highly advantageous
  • Sage experience will be advantageous but is not essential
This role offers Hybrid working - 2 days in the office 3 days at home£50,000 - £60,000 + study supportPlease note, parking on site is available
