Job Description

Job Title: Employment AdvisorSalary Range: £25,000 - £30,000The role:As a skills and career progression coach, you will be responsible for working with the learners and participants across all our funding streams providing advisory support and guidance to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. Thepost holder will report to and work closely with Contract and Centre Managers to meet performance KPIs. There is an expectation to build excellent relationships with learners, employers, and referral partners to support the development and progression ofall learners and local relationships at Pathways further supporting and developing the footprint in the local area.The post holders duties will include managing a caseload of learners, managing their journey to employment making correct use of our many funding streams, offer advice and direction to enable learners to access the support they need as per contractual requirements.The post holder will set SMART targets and provide a level of synergy across all major funding streams within the site, maximising our offer to our learners. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining administrative systems and completing paperworkdiligently and accurately across all the various funding streams.Responsibilities:

  • To meet performance targets subsequently meeting financial expectations on a monthly basis.
  • To meet fluctuating monthly job outcome targets subsequently meeting financial expectations across all contracts and funding streams.
  • Manage a caseload of learners, setting SMART targets and accurately recording progression.
  • To grow the business through various funding streams which are but not limited to advance learner loans, AEB, apprenticeship and traineeships.
  • To own the development and progression of our learners towards their career goals.
  • Build and maintain local relationships with employers, stakeholders and referral agencies to further enhance Pathways performance and footprint.
  • To provide accurate and timely reports to your Line Manager.
  • To ensure that all activity you are involved with is of high quality and the learner and employer experience is good in line with the education inspection framework, Matrix standards and/or other stakeholder standards.
  • Have an eye for detail ensuring compliance expectations are always met as a normal standard
  • Ensure IAG paperwork is of the highest quality ensuring a minimum grade 2 IAG standard is demonstrated at all times.
  • To ensure Companies policies and procedures are followed.
  • Full awareness of Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity.
  • To carry out any other duties which may be reasonably expected of the role.
Experience:
  • Experience of a similar IAG advisory role supporting learners into work.
  • Knowledge of the employability and skill market
  • Understand and have experience of Ofsted and audit compliance.
  • To have knowledge and experience of ESFA funding streams
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining excellent relationships.
  • Experience in using MIS, trackers and learning platforms.
  • Experience of the learner journey.
  • Experience of working in a quality-driven environment.
