We are looking for an enthusiastic Buyer to join our Leading and Growing client in Walsall. The ideal candidate will have come from a Buying/ Purchasing role within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:- Procurement and purchase of items in line with demand from the MRP report for customer specific vendors- Take ownership and be responsible for the "Traffic Light" system and the correct releasing of production orders as well as ensure shortages are on track and chased in- Source components and parts for a variety of products as well as source alternatives for problematic parts working closely with the Engineering departmentKey Attributes:- Experience with Microsoft Navision is preferable but other software is acceptable- 2-3 Years experience in a Purchasing/ Buyer role- Keen attitude to learn, develop and take on new tasks
