Asset Management - Project Programme ManagerSalary: Up to £52k dependent upon experienceLocation: Hybrid/Walsall - 3 days in Office/2 days WFHBenefits: Pension (Matched up to 6%) 28 days + Public Holidays, £300p/m Cash Car AllowanceHours: 37 Hours per week, Monday to FridayAt Our Company we deliver clean and reliable water supplies to around 1.8 million customers within the South Staffordshire and Cambridge regions.We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Programme Manager, who will join the Asset Management team, managing the investment portfolio and providing technical and innovative input to the generation of investment needs in key strategic areas.The Assets you will be managing will be Actual Water System Assets.Key Responsibilities of Project Programme Manager- Supporting management and optimisation of the c.£50-60m pa Capex investment programme, driving- Driving Asset Management requirements with colleagues through capital project initiation, understanding cross-team stakeholder expectations to meet business needs and supporting project delivery process of key investments in our above and below ground assets- Working collaboratively with finance and delivery teams to drive best value and an efficient capital programme- Leading annual capital budget setting process to generate a best value and transparent IP budget and providing input to recommendations to senior programme management team- Assisting in the preparation of capital approval papers and making recommendations to the Head of Asset Management and Approval Board- Identifying and monitoring programme opportunities and risks in line with a robust and well evidenced view of the optimised programme- Championing Asset Management process and systems within the overall business and working with other departments to complete Asset Management data gathering processesThe Ideal Candidate for Project Programme Manager- The ideal candidate will have strong planning, analysis, communication, influencing and numeracy skills.- Understanding of Asset Management principles and practices- Have strong verbal communication and presentation skills- Experience of the AMP period mechanisms and Price Review process is desired- Experience of investment or business planning in an asset intensive business, including application of cost benefit analysis.- An understanding of investment planning optimisation or a risk and benefits based approach to project selection.- Experience of investment or business planning in an asset intensive business, including application of cost benefit analysis.- An understanding of investment planning optimisation or a risk and benefits based approach to project selection.It would be beneficial for you to have skill with:
