Field based Account Managerneeded in themanufacturingindustry.I am currently working with a market leading UK-based manufacturer of lighting solutions, who sell into OEMs and end users across the UK and Europe. My client are looking for an experienced Account Manager who will help accelerate their growth plans in theUK (and across Europe if they have experience in export sales).Salary: £35-£55k base salary (DOE) plus commission.Location: hybrid/field based, with office attendance (Walsall) being optional.Duration: permanent.Benefits:• Car allowance, or company car if needed.• 25 days holiday.• Progression opportunities to Director level.• Hybrid/flexible working, with office attendance being available but not compulsory.• Fully expensed travel.• Technical team available to support you on sales meetings.Job responsibilities:• Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the company’s target markets.• Building strong and profitable relationships with existing and prospective clients.• Conducting market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and exceed sales targets.• Presenting products and solutions to clients in person, understanding their needs, and providing customised proposals.• Collaborating with the internal team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.• Keeping up to date with industry developments, attending trade shows, and networking events.The ideal candidate:• 3+ years successful track record in business-to-business field sales.• An understanding of the construction industry.• Experience selling into specifiers, consulting engineers or architects.• A background in electronics, lighting or technical components is preferred but not essential.• Adaptable and comfortable with change.• Language skills are preferable, but not essential.• Happy with reasonable travel for client meetings 2-4 days per week.• Excellent communication and relationship building skills, whilst being highly driven, organised, and resilient.If you are interested in this role and believe your experience is a match, please supply your CV.
