Join Our Clients Team as an SPMT Operative, in Wallsend - Long-Term Opportunities AwaitIf youre on the lookout for your next substantial assignment, IRS Recruitment is delighted to support our client in the Wallsend area on a long-term contract to 2025 subject our clients’ continuing requirements.There is the potential for permanent positions, starting immediately with the opportunity for long-term engagement based on our client needs.Dayshift schedule: 42-hour working week, Monday to Thursday from 07:00hrs to 16:00hrs, and Friday from 07:00hrs to 15:30hrs.Payrates£23.50 per hour for the first 38 hours worked and approved.£30.55 per hour in excess of 38 hours worked and approved.£35.25 per hour for Saturday hours worked and approved.£47.00 per hour for Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked and approved.As an SPMT (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) Operative, you will play a pivotal role in executing safe and efficient lifting and transfer operations, adhering to Company Policy, Quality, Safety & Environmental Management System, and International Standards.Qualifications:• Essential experience operating an SPMT, with preference for experience with Kamag SPMTs.• Rigging qualifications to OPITO Level 2 or above preferred but not essential.Additional Requirements:• Effective communication skills.• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks.• Strong work ethic and a commitment to health and safety.• Good physical fitness and overall health, as the role involves significant manual handling.• Flexibility to work shifts and perform duties at various hours.If you meet the qualifications and are prepared to embark on this exciting SPMT Operative role, we encourage you to take action.
