We have positions available for industrial Painter (s) and Blasters and sprayers to join our painting squad within our clients team in the Wallsend area. The position is for an immediate start and likely to be until 2025 and beyond. Possible permanent opportunities available. Working Monday to Saturday - 07:00 - 20:00hrs with the potential of overtime on Sunday. (50 hours per week) and must have a flexible approach to work. Painters and Blasters £19.50 per hour - For the first 38 hours worked and approved. £25.35 per hour - In excess of 38 hours worked and approved. £29.25 per hour - Saturday hours worked and approved. £39.00 per hour - Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked and approved. Paint Sprayers £21.50 per hour - For the first 38 hours worked and approved. £27.95 per hour - In excess of 38 hours worked and approved. £32.25 per hour - Saturday hours worked and approved. £43.00 per hour - Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked and approved. The requirements of the role will be but not limited to: - Painting and blasting / Spraying any elements required where the final painted product may have cosmetic paint repairs needed due to product going through rotation and movement and /or transport throughout the yard during final assembly stages. Minimum Qualifications: - ICATS Protective Coatings Applicator or ECITB Skills - CCNSG Safety Passport (preferred) - ICATS (preferred) - OPITO (preferred) Experience: - The ideal candidates will have previous experience in painting / blasting positions - Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred) - Licence/Certification: If you are interested and have these required skills.
