Theyre looking to appoint a proactive and dynamic individual to join the team as a Management Accountant.As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the finance service, working closely with the Head of Finance and Chief Operating Officer. Your commercial mindset will ensure strategic aims are achieved through professional advice andinformed decision-making.Responsibilities:* Proactively collaborate with senior management to drive financial transformation.* Provide essential management information for strategic decision-making.* Advise on efficient budget management to managers.* Assist in driving changes and efficiencies through proactive financial management.* Line management of finance staff, ensuring timely and accurate financial operations.* Lead the preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with budget holders.* Ensure timely delivery of statutory financial reports and audit requirements.* Prepare accurate monthly management accounts reports and provide detailed narratives.* Quality assure all financial forecasts to support cash flow monitoring.* Liaise with budget holders to produce revenue and capital forecasts. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified member of a CCAB Accountancy body, have extensive experience in the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting as well as experience of managing and leading a team.* £50,000 - £53,000 annual salary* One role predominately based North Tyneside, the other South Tyneside* 45 days annual leave (including bank holidays)* Flexible working hours, with home working permitted 2 days per weekIf youre ready to contribute to a dynamic educational environment, wed encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible to be considered for shortlisting.
