Job Description

Job Title: Business and Senior Childcare ManagerLocation: WindsorSalary: £38k - £40kOur client is looking for a dynamic business and senior childcare manager to join their spirited and progressive team. Do you champion childcare and early years education Is your heart set on nurturing young minds while simultaneously helping to steer a thrivingbusiness forward as a key part of the senior management team If so, then you will love this opportunity.Skills and Experience:* Knowledge of basic accounting practices, including budgets, P&L and reporting would be advantageous.- Creative thinker, receptive to change and remaining calm and effective under pressure.- Demonstrates a genuine passion for providing first-class standards in EY care, teaching and learning. - Able to innovative and introduce new ideas and solutions.- Strong inter-personal and leadership skills, previous experience of managing teams in settings and across all aspects of the business to deliver targets. - Proactive and strategic thinker with a positive attitude that brings creative and innovative ideas and understands how to execute them. - Collaborative and effective communicator - verbal and non-verbal. Strong persuasive written literature ability. - Excellent project management skills, to ensure tasks are completed within budget and timescale. - Personal drive to stay on top of industry developments and initiatives. - Able to manage various and often conflicting workflows in an ever-changing environment. - Demonstrable sector marketing and sales experience, strong influencing and negotiation skills. - Proactively seek opportunities for further training and learning for self (CPD) and the wider team. - Willingness to impart knowledge to the benefit of others.Additional Role Requirements - Able to travel across company settings and other locations (e.g. training venues, customer sites etc.)- Provide original copies of relevant qualifications and/or certification.- Hold an enhanced DBS security clearance (or being agreeable and eligible to obtain the required level of clearance) and agreeing to subscribe annually to the DBS update service.- Hold a full UK drivers licence.Role and Responsibilities:* Ensure our QA practices and resources are outstanding and innovative* Governance: Defining and reviewing Company policies and procedures to ensure consistent adherence and compliance to relevant regulations and requirements.* Audits, action plans, planning and team organisation.* Creating robust selection material to ensure candidate competencies are measured against our Core Values and role requirements.* Training and Development: Formal supervision, mentoring and coaching, internal and external training, PDPs and ongoing reviews.* Engagement and Retention: Use your talent to deliver our Corporate Engagement Plan and engagement schemes, supporting our community with your people management skills.* Levels and Costs: Maintain the quality services offered across all of our settings and ensure our strategic direction is set to maximise our capability and deliver our goals.* Be familiar and comfortable owning figures...our P&L and setting and monitoring budgets and spend.* Produce regular financial reports by setting and location to measure and monitor performance and support business decision-making.* Manage business costs e.g. average cost of sales/customer transactions, measured and monitored through the P&L and ad-hoc reporting.* Have a creative and enquiring outlook - how could we stand out and be different* Implement an innovative and challenging sales and marketing plan, with defined milestones and outcomes.* Explore new sales opportunities to increase the lifetime value of our customers, through]h increased average customer transaction value, customer retention data.* Business Planning: With the Senior Leadership Team and Board explore new opportunities for growth and expansion.Benefits:* Discounted childcare- Free Uniform- Free DBS- Pension scheme- 28 days annual holiday entitlement- Service award holiday entitlement - increase after 5 years - Commitment to personal development and training, including in-house training and supportIf this role sounds like something you would be interested in simply click "apply" and one of our consultants will contact you to get things rolling.
