The Teaching Assistant Job: Reeson Education are currently seeking an Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This role will be working within an Ofsted rated good school, this position is based at a special school situated in Sutton. This is a full time time, long-term position withthe potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This school specialises in educating students with complex medical needs therefore it would be beneficial for the successful Teaching Assistant needs to have previous experience/similar experienceto a Health Care Assistant. This specific role will be working as a Teaching Assistant for small groups and potentially 1:1 at primary or secondary level. It is also worth bearing in mind that the successful Teaching Assistant will need to be happy to providepersonal care.The School:This Ofsted rated good school is situated in Sutton. They have approximately 80 students between the ages of 4 -16. They can support pupils with various complex needs. It is the schools priority to make sure each student has an individual focus, that isnot only enjoyable but age appropriate. This school has fantastic amenities for members of staff and are able to provide their employees with personal and professional development.The Headteacher is incredibly successful and is highly valued by all members of staff. They are looking for someone who is confident, driven, eager to learn, flexible and can take initiative. As this vacancy is an immediate start, it is key for any new memberof staff that joins the school that a smooth transition takes place, in order to create minimal disruption for the students and staff.The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with complex needs in either a mainstream or a special school.
