What will be your role within the classroom

• Working closely with parents and reporting back on pupils progress
• Preparing the classroom, ready for the school day
• Working with children on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups
• Providing personal care
• Observing childrens behaviour

I am looking for resilient and caring Teaching Assistants who are looking for a new adventure and interested in the idea of working with children with special needs. As an SEN TA you will working with various complex needs, within a SEN School.This position will be working in a Primary SEN Class who will be specifically supporting learners with Moderate Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties. Some of these children will be high functioning and able, in addition to working closelyto the national curriculum. Some of which wont be working at national curriculum levels and could be non-verbal and communicate through PECS or Makaton.Working in an SEN School is a highly rewarding job and is a great way to obtain experience if you are interested in becoming a teacher later down the line.What is the client school likeAs a company we are working closely within an SEN School that specialised in working with children that have complex needs, and are looking for Health care assistant/SEN TAs to join their team. This school is rated good by Ofsted and there are approximately150 students within the school.
