For the right person, their storycan begin right here.The opportunityAs a Product & Operations Executive in our amazingly successful, Long Haul Product team, youll report to our super Head of Long Haul Product and working closely with our talented Destination Manager and fellow Product & Operations Executives. You will beresponsible for all operational aspects of our long haul holidays and work closely with the wider Product team and our customer-facing teams, SCS and Customer relations, as well as suppliers and tour managers. You will focus on the operational delivery ofour holidays to ensure a best-in-class holidays experience for our customers. You will also support in the creation and development of new products as well as supporting contracts administration. Getting a tour on the road and monitoring its every move isa key part of this role. You will also act as a key contact across the business for product queries.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide product support to internal teams, particularly responding to contact centre team queries
  • Provide fast, accurate and efficient responses to queries relating to Newmarket Holidays Long Haul product
  • Forward-planning tours in terms of attraction entrances, tour manager flights and accommodation
  • Dealing with day-to-day operational issues and queries from Tour Managers and customers
  • Preparation of customer tour documentation
  • Preparation of detailed information for tour managers, overseas partners - such as local agents and coach companies - including day by day itineraries, transfer information, and customer booking details
  • Review the operation of products during the holiday, and once it returns, to ensure improvements can be proposed for future departures and to enhance sales
  • Take full ownership of the operation of new and existing products, working collaboratively to ensure our holidays are operated to a high standard
  • Work closely with the Head of Long Haul Product and the Destination Manager to accurately administrate the contracting of all services
  • Support the team with competitor analysis, sharing findings and ideas for improvement readily and frequently
  • Identify system inaccuracies and inconsistencies, working effectively and efficiently with Product Inventory and Yield
  • Manage excellent relationships with supplier partners ensuring that commercial considerations do not compromise quality
  • Liaison between, and representation of, relevant internal teams as well as with third parties, to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Participate in travel trade fairs and events, educational/familiarisation trips.
Who we are looking for
  • Experience in a similar or relevant travel job
  • Passionate about long haul travel destinations and delivering a quality experience
  • Customer-focused team player who can build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Understand the importance of meeting strict time deadlines
  • Effective communicator both verbally and in writing who establishes good, collaborative working relationships
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Demonstrates a very high level of attention to detail in numeracy and accuracy
  • Highly organised with the ability to assimilate a variety of tasks, the flexibility to meet changing priorities as demands dictate and an ability to work well under pressure
  • Problem-solver who questions processes in the desire to achieve efficiencies
  • Willingness to travel overseas on business-related trips
  • Due to requirement for a minimum of 2 days per week to be office-based, you should live within a sensible commute of Wallington (surrey)
