My client based in Epsom Surrey is currently recruiting for a temporary Customer Support Associate to join their team.This role will be 35 hours per week, and remote working.Purpose of the role:To provide customer support to the customers of an online subscription service, playing a vital role in the delivery and day-to-day running of the service, as well as working with the wider Innovation team to provide ad hoc support to our other customersas required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Take the lead on customer service for our online subscription service of books Supporting customers with the enquiries in a timely manner which reflects the brands personality and tone. Responding to customer queries in a timely manner, usually by email but occasionally via telephone. Escalating queries as needed to other members of the Innovation and Caller Support teams. Support with liaising with external suppliers to arrange with the production and delivery of goods for the Book Club. Other ad hoc administrative tasks, such as logging invoices on a tracker or running reports. Assist with proofreading and sub-editing, ensuring updated brand and key messages are reflected across all materials. Willing to cover similar tasks for the Online Shop to over periods of absence and holidays.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEEssential: Strong background in customer experience (dealing with members of the public or other customers) Confidence in communicating with a range of customers by email and telephoneDesirable: A background in e-commerce customer service Experience in maintaining drag and drop websites (Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Amazon etc.).
