About the roleThe Education Network is currently looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within one of our partnership schools based in the West Newcastle area. The role will be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 15:30 initiallyuntil Easter, however, the role has the potential to go long term for the right candidate. The successful applicant will need to understand the Early Years curriculum and be able to deliver this to the highest level possible, as well as holding a Paediatric First Aid CertificateIf this is something that interests you then we would love to hear from you if you meet the following

• Level 3 or equivalent qualification with recent experience of working within a school (within the last 2 years)
• Must hold a Paediatric Certificate to be considered for the role.
• Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
• Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities
• Have a flexible and friendly approach
• Be committed to providing engaging and exciting learning opportunities
• Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to request one via ourselves.
