Job Description

Job: Year 2 TeacherLocation: WakefieldSalary: £130-£200 per dayStart Date: October half termContract Type: Long term/permanent opportunityAre you a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity Our primary school in Wakefield is seeking a talented Year 2 Teacher to join their team and make a positive impact on the education and development of their students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 2 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic and personal growth of each child.
  • Prepare students for Year 2 SATs examinations, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 2 students is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and SATs requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to the educational and emotional well-being of students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
