Jark (Bradford) Ltd Engineering Recruitment Division are looking to recruit a Waterjet Machine Operator to work for our engineering client based in Bingley Key Responsibilities Use your operating skills to deliver a product that meets the customers desired quality standard and delivery schedule Ensure product is manufactured through effective and efficient use of all materials and meets the company quality specification Contribute to the fulfilment of production plans on a daily basis, meeting or exceeding prescribed production rates Manage work schedule whilst minimising set-up time Understand personal responsibilities regarding health, safety, ethics and the bribery act and comply with all appropriate policies and procedures Work collaboratively to form positive and productive relationships with colleagues within the JWM manufacturing team Maintain a high degree of competency in line with the company standards Continually learn and update personal knowledge by actively participating in learning and training opportunities to build customer services, product and material knowledge Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.Skills/Experience Required Experience of operating a semi-automatic PLC controlled machines Waterjet experience Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment Dexterity and mechanical aptitude Knowledge of imperial and metric measurements Use of measuring equipment such as a steel rule, tape or verniers. Knowledge/Experience Preferred Previous experience of working for a semi-metallic Gasket manufacturer Gasket industry product knowledge Knowledge of engineering processes or demonstrate ability to learn Knowledge of semi-metallic gasket manufacturing This is a permanent position to work Monday to Friday 7:30am3:30pm (37.5 hours per week) (Hours may change due to a late shift possibly been introduced by the company MondayFriday 10am6pm)Pay rate: £11.48 per hourHolidays 20 days plus 8 bank holidays increasing by 1 day for every year of service.The company is also part of Cycle to work schemeOn-site parking4% pension contribution through Legal & General Full sick pay is paid after 12 month of employmentWellness programmes This is being advertised on behalf of Jark Bradford Ltd Engineering Recruitment Division who operate as an employment business.Should you have the correct experience please apply to our JARK BRADFORD TEAM or email me Lisa Smith an up-to-date CV to
