Job Description

SEND SupportWith the influx of demand for SEND support in Wakefield over the last year, schools are now more than ever looking to narrow the attainment gap - This is where YOU come in!If you are someone with a passion for supporting young children with various needs and are looking for your next challenge then we need you.We have a number of long term roles within our mainstream primary schools based in Wakefield including the following:

  • Autism Support (KS2)
  • Autism Support (Year 2)
  • Autism Support (EYFS)
  • ADHD Support
  • Behaviour Support-Team Teach training required
  • EAL/Lower ability Support (KS1)
* You will have experience of working with children with SEND, and understand their needs* If you have had experience working with children, SEND and/or the care industry, you will also be considered* You must have a can do attitude and a willingness to help in other areas of the classroom* The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure* The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff membersWhy work with Academics LtdWe can offer you:
