Transport Manager£40,000 - £45,000 + Mon - Fri + Hybrid + Company BenefitsWakefieldAre you a Transport Manager or similar looking to take the next step in your career, joining a stable and expanding business, where you will have autonomy and the chance to put your stamp on the department and create impact within the business as an integralpart of the management teamOn offer is the opportunity to oversee a fleet of 100 vehicles for a company who provide an essential service within the healthcare sector, they manufacture, maintain and distribute patient handling equipment across the UK, they give you the opportunityto get involved with dynamic projects and offer full autonomy to make the role your own.You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the fleet strategy, assessing performance, cost, efficiency of current vehicles, planning for future requirements, ensure the safety and documentation of all fleet vehicles as well as liaising with internaland external stakeholders to comply with all legal regulations.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Transport Manager or similar to join a reputable, growing business that is a recognised leader within the UK healthcare sector, continuously making improvements to achieve their goals, who provide autonomy, leadershipopportunities and the chance to work on a hybrid basis after probation.The Role:

  • Manage a fleet of over 100 vehicles
  • Management of Inspection Checks, MOTs, unscheduled defects and damage
  • Managing driver usage and fuel efficiency
  • Planning future requirements to ensure fleet meets the need of the business.
  • Management of vehicle taxation and insurance
