Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee CAD Technician to join our client’s team in Wakefield.The CompanyOur client is an LPCB Approved Installer specialising in the Design & Installation of Fire Sprinkler Systems and are certified ISO: 9001:2015 offering complete fire sprinkler solutions to all sectors of the industry ranging from the industrial, retail & commercial through to the educational sector.The RoleAs Trainee CAD Technician, you will:

  • Produce Fire Sprinkler System Installation drawings
  • Liaise with clients and staff to ensure drawing information is correct
  • Have a flexible working approach including general office and admin duties
  • Work towards undertaking site surveys and attending site / client meetings
    • About YouThe ideal candidate for Trainee CAD Technician will have or be:
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team
  • Experience in a Building or Mechanical Services workplace
  • Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel and Access
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of using AutoCad software 2D & 3D packages (advantageous)
  • Clean driving licence (advantageous)
