Job Description

Key Stage 2 TeacherLocation Wakefield and surrounding villagesDaily rate - £130-£195Veritas are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to start working full time. The school is looking for a qualified Teacher who will be leading classes of around 30 pupils with all mixed abilities and understand the currentnational curriculum.About the role

  • Able to plan and prepare engaging lessons
  • The pupils will have mixed abilities so the teacher will need to have the ability to differentiate their lessons to suit all
  • Be able to manage challenging behaviour if it arises
  • Marking work and able to provide structured feedback
  • Supporting children on a day-to-day basis to help them develop and grow
Requirements
  • Must have QTS
  • Previous experience working in KS2
  • Be organised and able to effectively pre plan
  • A genuine passion for teaching and encouraging children to learn
  • Have a DBS on update service or willing to apply
  • Be able to provide professional references to cover you for 2 years
