Phs Group is the leading provider for Hygiene Services in the UK, Spain and Ireland with over 90,000 customers over 300,000 locations.We are looking for an Experience Stock Controller with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence and a clean driving licence to join our current team at our Leeds Operations Centre to provide a valuable service to our customers.This role is suitable for both female and males with the relevant experience required.You will be the working with a great team of Phs Employees who ensures our customers get the best service possible of their products. You’ll be busy monitoring and controlling these products to our high standards whilst monitoring the quality of the product ensuring everything is top-notch.•To maintain enough levels of stock to run the Operations Centre, including uniforms and protective clothing.•To issue and receive back in, stock needed, and stock returned against drivers’ routes.•To maintain manual issue and manual receipt records.•To maintain all records relating to the sale of Vend consumables and to carry out & log periodic stock takes.•To keep stock areas and warehouse clean and tidy always in-line with PHS stores process and requirements.•Responsible for stock replenishment from PHS distribution centre•To re-charge first aid boxes ready for next service.•To be able to carry out requisitions and any other purchasing when necessary in the absence of the Operations Centre Manager or appointed person.•To check goods received against goods receipt notes and replenish stores stock.•To weigh & record accurately all out-going Euro bins in-line with PHS processes•To properly segregate all outgoing waste streams for onward recycling and / or disposal including but not limited to: Aerosols, Batteries, Plastics, Amalgam, and various liquid containers.•To undergo continuous training and development.•To carry out any other duties required by the Operations Centre Manager to ensure effective day to day running of operation.•To be aware of the Company ISO14001/ISO9001 procedures and the Waste Transfer Station’s licence and to adhere to them always. (full training to be provided)•To be aware of and abide by Health & Safety Regulations and COSHH and to wear the appropriate Protective Clothing.•To carry out all operations and activities in the prescribed manner.•Use the correct tools and equipment for the operation including any relevant safety equipment or protective clothing.•Report any defects in equipment or protective clothing immediately.•Avoid improvising or taking short cuts that would entail unauthorised or unnecessary risks.•Maintain a clean and tidy working area.•Report accidents or near miss incidents promptly.•Suggest ways of eliminating or reducing hazards.•Co-operate with accident/incident investigations in order to prevent re-occurrence.•Develop a personal concern for their own safety and that of colleagues.
