Job Title: Serious Injury Grade B Legal ExecutiveLocation: Wakefield, United KingdomSalary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annumOne of the largest and most prestigious national law firms in the UK, are recruiting for the role of Serious Injury Grade B Legal Executive in their Wakefield office. The Serious Injury team is one of the largest in the country, dedicated to providing top-tierlegal service to clients who have suffered from serious injuries.Key Responsibilities:* Handle a varied caseload of serious injury claims including catastrophic injury, brain injury, spinal injury, and fatal accidents. * Conduct initial case reviews and work with clients to collect relevant information. * Prepare legal advice for clients, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court proceedings as required. * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to maximise the value of claims and expedite claim resolution. * Liaise with external parties such as medical professionals, insurers, and barristers. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law and industry developments. * Uphold the firms commitment to exceptional client service, legal excellence, and professional integrity.Qualifications and Skills:* Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification. * A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience specifically within Serious Injury Law. * Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload. * Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral. * Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development. * Empathy and resilience, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.Benefits:On offer is a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, health care, life insurance, and generous annual leave.
