Job Description

Were recruiting a 12-month Senior HR Assistant contract for our clients based in Wakefield, paying between £30,000 - £34,000 p/a.Client DetailsOur client is one of the UKs leading private homebuilders, with offices based across the country at regional hubs. Youll be reporting into the Divisional Head of HR and supporting the Head of Reward & HR Systems.DescriptionDuties of the Senior HR Assistant will include:

  • To maintain accurate HR information including the entry and verification of data onto the HR system, ensuring the information is accurate and timely.
  • To provide administrative support in the delivery of key HR services, such as recruitment, attendance records, terminations, and contract amendments by fully understanding the Company policies and procedures.
  • To prepare various documents, including offer letters and contracts.
  • To support colleagues with HR system queries, password resets and on-boarding in an accurate and timely manner.
  • To be proactive with suggestions for process improvement.
  • To act as a point of contact for internal and external contacts, ensuring queries are dealt with to a high professional standard.
  • To conduct meetings with employees where required such as exit interviews.
  • To maintain confidentiality and operate with integrity in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Company policies and procedures.
  • To work within the Company Governance guidelines.
  • To escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
ProfileThe successful candidate will have:
  • Strong HR Admin experience
  • Experience of data input and using HR information systems
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy whilst under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a professional manner
Job Offer
  • Salary between £30,000 - £34,000
  • 12-month contract role
  • Hybrid working, 2 days from the office per week
