Production Co-ordinatorMonday to FridayMain purpose of the role: Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Production Co-ordinator will be responsible for working with the Planning Manager, Production Managers and Team Leaders to ensure production schedules are accurate and deadlines are met, witha focus on ensuring that outputs are on time to the customer demand.Key Responsibilities:Finite daily capacity planning for all production departments across our manufacturing processes.Raise component shortages and ensure all shortages are investigated, resolved and communicated out where necessary.Monitoring jobs to ensure that they are completed on time through the daily huddle.Collaborate with all relevant internal departments to pass/gain information, including projects, new products or one-offs.Maintenance of BOMs and stock consumption through production, resolving posting errors to ensure output.Daily/Weekly Production efficiency tracking and reporting to Production Manager and Head of Manufacturing.Maintain production schedules to keep them aligned to the delivery schedules.Compile and distribute weekly production reports, including Capacity Loading, Efficiency and Shortages.Role Requirements:Previous experience in production of BOMs and stock controlPrevious experience in dealing with capacity planningProactive and self-motivated with excellent organisational skillsComputer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; previous experience with Microsoft NAV preferredPrevious experience working within a manufacturing/production environment an advantagePerson Specification:Shows ability to multitask and problem solveEye for detail with strong numeracy skillsStrong team player who can work with a diverse teamWorks well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environmentKeeps a highly organised scheduleWorks well as a member of the team with good people skills and communicates with team members about the progress on certain projectsExperience in Health and Safety an advantageExperience in 5s an advantageSkills:ProductionMicrosoftManufacturing PlanningKeywords:ProductionMicrosoftManufacturing Planning
