Job Description

  • Prepare month end financial management reporting for UK areas.
  • Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes with accompanying analysis.
  • Be the main point of contact for all financial issues regarding plant manufacturing / logistics.
  • Become an integral member of the Manufacturing site leadership team.
  • Provide support and guidance on all business finance issues to senior business leaders.
  • Investigate and resolve significant financial variances generated with budget holders.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identify improvements to standard finance processes and help to improve these as part of a major transformation project.
  • Oversee the day to day management of 1 assistant accountant.
ProfileThe Plant Financial Controller will have the following:
  • Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing and production/supply chain environment
  • Good attention to detail, analytical skills and sufficient interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with senior management.
  • Strong SAP and Excel skills ideally but not essential
