This is an exciting and newly created role, managing both in-house and outsourced payrolls, across the UK and internationally.Client DetailsPage Personnel have partnered with a widely-renowned organisation who are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their Shared Services Team. The payroll function will be based from Wakefield and will be responsible for all payroll across the UK and internationally.This employer prides itself on its flexible approach to working and generous employee benefits scheme.DescriptionThe role will involve working closing with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure payroll operations are carried out in line with long-term objectives. Responsibilities will include overseeing all UK and international payrolls, including managing an internal end-to-end payroll, and ensuring the submission to and management of outsourced payroll providers. Working to high standards, you will ensure the Payroll Department and outsourced providers offer an accurate and timely service at all times.You will be responsible for governance and statutory compliance across a multitude of countries, developing an expert knowledge of country specific payroll processes. You will play a key role in auditing procedures relating to payroll operations.Part of this role will involve overseeing an accurate payroll system and process migration and establishing a new payroll hub in Wakefield. This will involve developing key relationships both internally and externally, working closely with the Senior Leadership Teams across the organisation.You will be responsible for the on-going reviewing and improvement of payroll processes, ensuring they are both efficient and up-to-date, using the best technology available.ProfileCandidates wishing to make an application should have:
