Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join the non-profit sector as a Payroll Analyst. This is a newly created and varied role supporting and reporting directly into the Head of Payroll.This role will be based from the organisations office in Wakefield but will also offer home working and flexibility.Client DetailsPage Personnel have partnered with an organisation in the non-profit sector. This role is based from their Wakefield office.DescriptionThe role of the Payroll Analyst will involve supporting the Head of Payroll with management of an out-sourced payroll function. Duties will include ensuring accurate and well documented accounting processes including payroll journals and reconciliations; overseeing an outsourced payroll function, checking calculations and ensuring they meet SLAs; acting as a key point of contact point for employee queries, providing resolution where possible and escalating where required; ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time, ensuring an excellent customer service at all times; plus other duties as required.ProfileCandidates wishing to apply should have:

  • Recently worked in a payroll position;
  • An excellent attention to detail;
  • A passion for delivering a high level of customer service;
  • Knowledge of payroll bureaus (desirable, not essential).
