Job Description

Planning AdministratorPart-time 16.5 hours per week - flexible over 3 or 4 days, could suit school hoursWakefield - office-based, parking on site12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave£24k p/r Looking for a part-time administrative job to work around school hours or perhaps looking for a work/life balanceMy client is seeking a Planning Assistant to join their procurement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract on a part-time basis. This role is due to start at the beginning of March so applicants must be able to start by this time.You’ll need to have gained strong administrative experience and be confident using Excel, Vlooks Ups, and Pivot Tables as well as an intermediate use of PowerPoint. This will need to be demonstrated on your CV.On a daily basis you will be involved with;

  • Analysing data, and reviewing information to determine order requirements. Raising purchase orders for approval based on the data created
  • Responsible for raising direct special orders for DMC products; liaise with the Customer Services team regarding this process.
  • Distribution of purchase orders to suppliers with ongoing monitoring of delivery against these. Liaison with the warehouse as needed
  • Arranging delivery for inbound products, booking products through the system, working with the warehouse operation to ensure all stakeholders have necessary and required documentation and information
  • Invoice processing, verifying quantity has been delivered and the pricing is correct
  • Report generation, e.g. out of stock lists to provide management with high calibre information on which decisions can be made
  • Management of the Oneoffice database as required
