Job Description

As IT Manager you will help develop and maintain the IT infrastructure. You will also provide timely and effective support in the operation of the day-to-day running of the IT infrastructure, supporting the Head of IT in his/her role.Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be partnered with this retail production organisation to support on the recruitment of a IT Manager.DescriptionWhat youll be doingAs IT Manager you will help develop and maintain the IT infrastructure. You will also provide timely and effective support in the operation of the day-to-day running of the IT infrastructure, supporting the Head of IT in his/her role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance of the data and communications infrastructure.
  • Provide second level support for user problems.
  • Research into potential IT solutions and advise on which products and suppliers can best meet the business requirements.
  • Help develop and manage the Server infrastructure.
  • Help develop and manage the group Disaster Recovery policy/procedures.
  • To run/manage IT projects as required.
  • Maintain legal compliance of software licensing within the company.
  • Maintain, replace or repair hardware as applicable.
  • Configure hardware and install software as required.
  • Manage the Web Sites & Internet Access including appropriate security measures.
  • Manage the Telephony and Communications systems, including supplier maintenance where applicable.
  • To recognise and act upon any cost saving/income generation activities and to be involved in any relevant training.
