Job Description

Our client has an established interior landscape business carrying out the design, installation, and maintenance of interior plant displays to customers which include: - offices, restaurants, hotels, blue chip businesses etc. Due to continued expansion, they currently have a vacancy for a part time Interior Maintenance Technician, ideally living in commutable distance of to travel between Sheffield, Bradford and Leeds. Your principle responsibility will be to visit multiple clients 2 days a week checking the installation of existing plant displays, as well as installing new displays. Duties will include -

  • Watering
  • Dusting
  • Cleaning
  • Pest control
  • Trimming
  • Tidying/replacing surface dressing as required
    • You will also be expected to ensure that clients are happy with the service provided, and deal with any ad hoc requests. Key Skills: Our client is looking for keen and enthusiastic candidates who have a passion for plants and good horticultural knowledge. It is essential that he/she has excellent customer service/field service skills combined with good communication skills and a willingness to be flexible regarding duties.You will generally be working on your own and it is important that you are highly self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision. A van will be provided together with appropriate clothing and a full range of equipment. Candidates should hold a full driving licence and be confident about driving.
