Job Description

Working for a rapidly growing business with big ambitions, a new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and driven Finance Business Partner. A chance to be part of a friendly and welcoming group with the importance of family and community at theirheart and a desire to deliver the best for their clients.As a Finance Business Partner/Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing finance related support to a specific division within the group. Youcan make the role your own, while fully supported by theline manager and the finance team overall.You will develop a sound understanding of the strategic direction and continually develop financial processes to best support this.Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Post and reconcile journals, accruals and prepayments within the account system COINS.
  • Present monthly results to Divisional Management alongside the regional Operations Director and Commercial manager.
  • Produce balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all reports issued to the Senior Management Team.
  • Undertake reviews and analysis of Regional Overhead costs.
  • Develop reports and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Work with the Divisional Finance Team to support and facilitate cross divisional requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting requirements to the region and division.
The Successful Applicant:
  • Will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role·
  • Be CIMA/ACCA qualified, PQ or QBE.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and a natural ability to spot erroneous outcomes.
  • The ability to clearly communicate in writing.
