Job Description

We have an incredible opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join a growing, passionate, independent firm based in Wakefield.You will be able to work on a variety of clients, with a firm that are eager to support the growth of both you and their clients. Passionate about their work, you will have the chance to make a real difference to both the firm and clients, with excitingprospects for your future.About the role:

  • Preparation of statutory year end accounts and management accounts to review stage, for clients ranging from £1 million to £5 million turnover.
  • Complete corporate tax calculations.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Assisting clients with their bookkeeping systems when required.
About the candidate:
  • Experience using QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or Iris would be beneficial.
  • AAT Qualified or studying ACA/ACCA.
  • Eager to progress, this firm is looking for someone to move through the ranks with a progressive, structured development plan in place.
  • Confident liaising with clients over the phone and in person.
