Job Title: Smart Metering TutorLocation: WakefieldPackage: £30,000 - £35,000 Top class Training facilities, growing business, and working with purpose built workshops. Just a number of things that you can experience and be a part of on a daily basis with this opportunity.Working for a Training Provider that specialises in delivering programmes and qualifications to the utilities market, they have a purpose built training centre in Yorkshire and service clients across different regions of England. The organisation is going through a period of growth with more demand on the short courses, but also implementing and utilising Apprenticeships through the Levy.Based from the Wakefield Centre, you will be delivering training to Dual Fuel Smart Metering Engineers/Installers, in order for them to be fully qualified. This will be in both forms of long courses, and apprenticeships depending on the clients requirements.The Training provider deliver both the Arqiva and Telefonica training courses for maximum variety and the ability to cater for client needs.Naturally, you will have to be qualified for this role. We are looking for individuals who have been on the tools and worked as an engineer/installer with Smart Metering, and ideally experienced as a trainer in this field.The occupational qualifications on Gas and Electric are key, including MOCOPA, and teaching or assessing certificates are also required for this role.The provider deliver a range of other programmes, so if you can also deliver training in other utility programmes (Gas, Electric, Plumbing) then this would also be highly beneficial, but by no means essential.Ideally, this is a permanent position but we are also open to people wanting to work freelance or as an associate.Positions are available now, with 2 posts available and we are ideally looking for an August and September start.
