This is a role for an experienced desktop, mobile and web application developer with extensive experience of visual studio, C#/SQL/IIS.mainly use Microsoft technologies, primarily Visual Studio (C#,Xamarin) and T-SQL as languages.We also have some VB.NET applications that we maintain.Other non-Microsoft technology such as JAVA may be utilised as requirements dictate. We target windows, web, android and (occasionally iOS) platforms.We adopt appropriate development approaches depending on the type, scale and governance requirements of any particular project. Thecandidate should ideally be comfortable with Agile/Scrum as well as traditional waterfall run projects.Main duties of the jobThe primary aspects of the role are software development, bug fixes and application/database support and maintenance.You will also review code to improve quality and ensure adherence to our software standards. You will be responsible for conducting effective and timely analysis of organisational, team and individual system requirements and creating software solutions to meet these needs, following best practice software engineering processes.You will also be responsible for demonstrating/presenting potential solutions to customers, maintaining and enhancing existing applications, defining outcome-based test criteria for requirements, and participate in rigorous testing of developed applications to ensure best fit against requirements, and to eliminate faulty code.
