With unrivalled knowledge and experience, we provide high-quality, value-for-money finance, procurement and employment services to the NHS, helping them overcome any challenges they face in the back office.We work closely with NHS organisations all over the country to replace outdated, time-consuming and error-prone paper processes, with affordable digital systems and more efficient ways of working, and in addition to our core services, we are designing and developing innovative digital technologies and piloting brand new ways of working, which further improve efficiency and quality, and better support the NHS workforce to deliver world-class patient care.We are passionate about using our expertise to save the NHS time and money and are more relevant today than ever before.The Day Job:Are you an experienced UX Designer with a real passion for understanding the overarching interactions between customers and businesses...the customer journey….why and how individuals interact the way they do onlineIf so, this is the role for you!As a UX Designer, you will be covering the full creative digital spectrum across numerous projects, joining the government digital UX team to deliver focused, innovative solutions to a range of government clients along with supporting our wider portfolio of clients across the UK.You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be resourceful, forward thinking and committed. Our digital people embrace these qualities and are passionate and positive even with the most complex issue to solve.Key Responsibilities:

  • Being hands on in problem solving, translating business requirements into clean, intuitive experiences.
  • Experience of creating and crafting UX material based on research you or others have gathered and use it to consult with our clients, providing direction to a range of projects within Sopras client portfolio.
  • Liaising with project teams and key stakeholder to identify and communicate audience needs, being able to clearly communicate to the business what UX is, why we need it and how to implement it
  • Exploring UX solutions and making decisions that shape the various projects from a UX perspective
  • Performing research and communicate research findings , evaluating ideas and perform user testing, presenting design concepts/user journey flows to team members and management
  • User stories, Prototypes (lo-fi and hi-fi), Wireframes and flows and design specifications
  • Creating static and active mock-ups of the user interface for omni-channel experiences
  • Essential Skills
  • 2 years minimum experience as a User Experience Designer
  • Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of using Axure and Balsamiq
  • Examples of data gathered from usability analysis tools and tests
  • Experience of working in agile projects
  • Strong understanding of user centred design methodology
