Our client, a well established and rapidly growing manufacturer, seek to appoint a Compliance Manager with knowledge of compliance / approvals / certification / regulations and a background working with mechanical engineering focused companies. The appointedCompliance Manager will be well organised and confident with lone working (youll be the only person in your department, relied upon to be the self starter the company needs) and happy to carry out detailed audits on people and processes on a continuous basis.Your role will be to understand all of the different rules and regulations affecting the company, to audit internally against those rules and regulations to ensure staff follow appropriate processes and highlight any areas of concern to the management teamin good time, and to then manage external audits when those certifying bodies and/or customers come to site. Youll liaise with sales, quality, engineering and finance teams internally as required. Experience with ISO standards is a must (9001, 14001, 45001)and additional knowledge around financial procedures and additional regulatory standards would be beneficial.Compliance Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Certification, Regulation, Mechanical Engineering, Approvals, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, BSI, Quality, Technical* Auditing people, processes and procedures to ensure compliance to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards, amongst others* Producing documentation for bid and proposal work to support the commercial team when they are finalising new sales agremments* Reviewing, maintaining, applying for and managing specific regulatory body approvals to relevant standards* Taking the lead on customer visits and regulatory body visits to ensure compliance to appropriate standards* Ensuring ongoing certification / compliance / regulatory approval is maintained throughout the companyCompliance Manager - Skills and Abilities -Certification, Regulation, Mechanical Engineering, Approvals, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, BSI, Quality, Technical* Minimum of ten years experience in a Certification / Approvals / Compliance focused role* HNC / HND in an Engineering or Scientific subject preferred, or significant experience working for a mechanical engineering focused company* Good technical writing skills and experience of preparing technical files for regulatory bodies* Experience in external approvals / certification, including* Experienced auditor, for both internal and external clients* Excellent people skills to highlight concerns and manage through teams to improve outcomesCompliance Manager,Certification, Regulation, Mechanical Engineering, Approvals, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, BSI, Quality, TechnicalIf this role could appeal please do apply now!
