Job Description

PageGroup have partnered with a Not for Profit organisation in Wakefield with a permanent opportunity to join as a Communications Officer. This role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary as well as long-term development opportunitiesClient DetailsPageGroup have partnered with a Not for Profit organisation in Wakefield with a permanent opportunity to join as a Communications Officer. They are open to new graduates or those with an interest in communications and Marketing.They provide education, residential care, plus a range of therapies and enrichment activities for children, young people and adults with profound and multiple disabilitiesDescriptionThe Communications Officer will be responsible for:

  • Writing and publishing content for corporate communication channels including website, social media, newsletters and other publications
  • Building relationships alongside our community ambassador to identify opportunities and partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Building relationships with our employees to identify real life stories that can be used for communications activities, in a sensitive and ethical way
  • Ensuring that all campaigns, content and material meet our brand guidelines and providing support to encourage other teams within the Trust to meet the guidelines
  • Researching, planning, delivering and evaluating communications and marketing campaigns to raise awareness and engagement levels with target audiences
  • Taking/commissioning photos and videos to support campaigns and activities
ProfileThe successful Communications Officer will have:
  • Some experience in writing content for on and offline communications
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge
  • Be able to work with data and administrative task as well as creative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to learn
  • An understanding of current laws relating to communications such as data protection and copyright
Job Offer£20,000 - £22,000 per annum + Open to Graduates + 37 hour working week + Flexible working + 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays + Pension contribution + training and development opportunities + Benefits Hub
