Class 1 or Class 2 DriverA fantastic opportunity to work for one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s Top 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2020.Conservatory Outlet Ltd is an industry-leading manufacturer of home improvement products spanning contemporary extensions, conservatories, orangeries, roofs, glass, windows and doors in both uPVC and aluminium. Part of a £40m+ turnover Group that also owns and runs two of the North’s most successful retail installers, we’re proud to have been awarded Manufacturer of the Year’ status at the recent Wakefield Business Awards.Following unprecedented growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Driver who will be predominately driving Class 2 vehicles however you will be required to drive a Class 1 vehicle when required. You will take pride in your work and ensure the timely delivery of a quality product to our retail network. You will know what it takes to achieve targets - and you’ll have the motivation to get results.Hours of work are Monday to Friday with early morning starts and the possibility of at least 2 overnight stays per week.   • To deliver and collect uPVC doors, windows, conservatories, solid roofs, ancillary items to our network of dealers across the country, ensuring all goods are delivered in a timely and efficient manner and goods arrive in a quality condition;
  • To provide first class customer service to our dealerships when delivering and collecting products;
  • To ensure that all Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to;
  • To ensure that all Tachograph rules and Working Time regulations are adhered to;
  • To ensure fully compliant and conversant with transport legislation.
    • Person Attributes
  • Class 1 and Class 2 driving experience with driver CPC;
  • A full clean driving license would be advantageous;
  • A sound knowledge of driving hours, tachographs and working time legislation;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player who can work on own initiative, with a can-do attitude and effective time management;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees and customers and work effectively with others;
  • A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.
