In this legacy case officer role, you will have overall responsibility for managing our legacy cases, ensuring we receive the maximum income from the estates to which we are entitled. As legacy case officer you will represent Leonard Cheshire whilst liaising with Solicitors, other legal professionals and non-professional executors (including next of kin). You will develop and implement effective legacy administration processes to manage and grow our future legacy income. The role is based in our London office however there can be flexibility, in agreement with the line manager, on the place of work, to support the post holders wishes.About YouYou will have a legal or legacy officer administration qualification (Solicitor, ILEX or CiCLA) and ideally have previous experience working in charity legacy administration. You will be highly competent, have substantial knowledge of probate, trusts, tax and property related issues as they relate to charitable legacies and be able to manage and prioritise the charitys legacy cases effectively.
