  • Forecasting & Procurement systems, UK forecasting & procurement process
You will needAs the Price Support & Demand Planning Manager, you will possess the following skills and expertise;Indirect Bid price supportDrive Canon UK&I Partner Channel business and contribute to achieve Revenue&Profit target by providing best price proposition to the business in cooperation with CEL HQs. Achieve&Maintain best quality of business management by providing continuousprocess refine activities
  • Support SDMs for winning the business, giving advise like model selection, configuration, and pricing.
  • Model up price support request to CINC/CEL, utilizing a best resource of support funding for the bid.
  • Submit the request to CEL and negotiate with them if necessary.
  • Ensure a first action taken within 24 hours. And aim to provide price authorization within 48 hours.
  • (as future development) Support SDMs for building up growth plan per a partner.
  • Update Price Master File
    1. Maintain Price Master File up to date
    2. Refine the template in order to be in line with latest Indirect Partner Program
  • Indirect Price Governance
    1. Build up Indirect pricing authorization process in cooperation with Commercial Operation team and maintain it.
    2. Tie up price authorization with support fund claim procedure.
    3. Support Unity/ISS/Modifier-Qualifier discussion, if necessary.
Support Claim process managementMaximize profitability of the business by ensuring most accurate management of support claim process
  • Populate required data to support claim templates with high accuracy and in a timely manner and submit it to CEL.
  • Improve internal process and achieve better accuracy of capturing orders to be claimed.
  • Support Finance team for ensuring correct booking of support fund to the channels. If Finance recognize different support amount, then need to check with CEL why.
Demand & Supply PlanningMaximize sales opportunities by ensuring stock is available for the business in cooperation with central demand&supply planning team. Regularly monitor back orders and solve issues in order to make them shipped/invoiced ASAP.
  • Large Deal Forecast for Central EDSM
    1. Provide accurate forecasts incl. large deal forecasts using appropriate tools and resources to ensure sufficient stock is in place to meet NSO demands. Working closely with local teams, Sales and key personnel to collate the required input and update systems.
  • Back Order Management
    1. Check stock availability and shipping schedules and take appropriate action to manage potential stock issues
    2. Find orders with wrong part code, wrong warehouse sourcing, etc. and correct it in cooperation with OM
    3. Liaise with Central EDSM team, if the issues are not solved locally.
    4. Manage stock allocations across all appropriate products.
  • Stakeholder management
    1. Support Beginning of Life (BOL)/ EOL (End of Life) Item substitution management in cooperation with product managers.
    2. Review returned, obsolete or slow-moving stock and take appropriate action to reduce in cooperation with SCM team.
    3. Stock entry and shipping co-ordination with the warehouse, Import/Export and Order Management, if Sales channels request.
    Reporting & Analytics
  • To analyse and report on product availability, back orders and forecast accuracy and take actions as required to improve.
