Job Description

We are looking for a HR Systems Specialist to join the People Technology team for a global Pharmaceutical client based in West London, the role reports to the Director of People Technology and will partner with HR Business Partners, HR COEs and IT to support existing HR systems and execute on projects per People Technology strategic roadmap with a focus on the EMEA region.This is a 12 month contract with a the potential of a permanent position

  • Serve as a strong consultative partner to HR Business Partners and HR COEs in technology solution delivery
  • Partner with HR business owners, IT and 3rd party consultants in HR system implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with HR business functions to align business requirements, business processes and integration design
  • Drive continuous people, process and technology improvements
  • Participate in Workday and other HR system implementations, providing functional oversight, gathering business and security requirements, performing system design, configuration, mapping and validating data conversion, creating test plans, conducting testing, creating and testing reports and providing post implementation support
  • Provide support to HR system operations; Responsibilities include troubleshooting data and system issues, recommending solutions and implementing changes and fixes in the systems per companys policy
  • Develop and maintain HR system training materials and conduct in person or online training
  • Participate in testing efforts for Workday releases and system enhancements
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley controls
  • Maintains the confidentiality and security of data accessed during the course of daily activities
  • Support additional special projects as assigned
  • Knowledge & Skills:
  • Good solid HRIS experience required (configurations, security, custom reports). Biopharma and / or HR experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in providing support to the Core HCM and Absence functions
  • Extensive hands-on experiences in managing Workday Core, Absence Management and Time Tracking developing custom reports and operational support
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to consult with and present to senior HR leaders;
  • Proven detail oriented and analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a global, fast pace dynamic environment
  • Strong team player and ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational, auditing, and analysis skills
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and independently determine and take appropriate action within defined HR policies and procedures.
