Job Description

We supply flow and motion control products for the worlds most severe-service and mission critical applications and we are currently looking for a commercially driven Head of Procurement to spearhead, modernise and invigorate the purchasing function.BASIC SALARY: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experienceBENEFITS:· Pension · Healthcare · 24 Days HolidayLOCATION: MiddlesexPlease note the role is office based and advertised in a variety of commutable locationsOverviewThe primary focus of the Head of Procurement position is to implement and manage a new procurement strategy for the business.Key elements of the role will be to: · Manage and develop a small team · Manage all direct and indirect procurement for the business · Manage a total international spend of circa £10million in the UK · Implement and ensure compliance with new SLAs for the business and is suppliers and KPIs for the staff · Assess how to get best value out of the current procurement relationships and where needed, ensure supplier variation and contingency options exist · Reduce waste and improve efficienciesThis is genuinely an opportunity to create a buying platform from a relatively blank canvass and will require a candidate who is strong willed and confident in their approach. The business is ready for this change!Training & Development - Extensive training will be given in all aspects of our products, suppliers and existing contracts.
